Company library

Share the company's tool chests and assemblies through the iCOS Labs website.

The company library keeps the company's own tool chests (symbols, markup tools, takeoff tools) and assemblies on the iCOS Labs website, so every computer uses the same, latest versions. It replaces emailing .btx or chest files around.

Open it from the Tool chest panel: the cloud button at the top (Company library).

Connect once

Ask your administrator for a library token. Each company (WOW, SET, Baydo…) has its own library, and the token decides which one you get.
Open Company library, paste the token into Library token.
Click Download company library.

The token is remembered on this computer. Downloaded shows the company, the library version and when you last downloaded it.

Download again whenever your administrator says the library changed. Company chests replace your copies of the same chests; your personal chests are never touched.

What you see after downloading

Company chests show a lock in the tool chest: everyone can arm and use the tools, only library admins can change them.
Tools filed under a trade only show in profiles that use that trade (see Profiles), so an electrician does not see the plumbing tools and the other way round.
Assemblies are added to the takeoff library (see Takeoff).

Publishing (library admins)

In the Tool chest panel, tick Library admin at the bottom.
Build or import the chests as usual — for example import the Bluebeam .btx tool sets (see Tool chest and symbols).
Open Company library. Under the token you see all your own chests: tick the ones that belong to the company library.
Click Publish my version. Everyone who downloads afterwards gets exactly these chests and your assemblies.

Each publish is a new numbered version; the website keeps the earlier ones.

If someone else published in the meantime you see "Someone published a newer version first". Click Download company library first (that brings their changes here), then publish again — this way nobody overwrites another admin's work by accident.

Problems

Message	What to do
The website did not accept this token	The token is wrong, expired, or only allows downloading. Ask your administrator for a new one.
The company library is still empty	Nobody has published yet. A library admin publishes first.
Company library not reachable	No internet, or the website is down. Your chests keep working offline; try again later.
