Big sheets, no waiting

A native PDFium engine renders in tiles, so a forty-sheet electrical set or an A0 site plan scrolls and zooms without stalling.

Markup the way you already work

Clouds, callouts, text, arrows, stamps and highlights, with a format bar for fonts, line styles and arrowheads. Saved as standard PDF annotations, so Acrobat and Revu show the same thing.

Measure and take off

Calibrate once, or set several scales on one sheet. Counts, lengths, areas and drops feed a takeoff ledger grouped by trade, panel or floor — ready for CSV and Excel.

Tool chests and custom symbols

Company chests for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and door access. Import Bluebeam .btx files, make label symbols like CR or REX, or right-click any markup and add it to a chest.

One app, every trade

Pick a profile — office, drawing review, electrical, plumbing & HVAC or other trades — and the menus show only what that job needs.

Compare revisions

Overlay, side by side or flicker, aligned automatically. Changes are clouded, text differences are listed word by word, and a slip sheet carries your markups to the new revision.

Everyday PDF work

Merge, split and reorder pages, OCR scanned sets, fill forms, sign, add headers and Bates numbers — and redact for real: the text is removed, not covered.

AI that asks before it counts

Opens your Bluebeam files as they are

Measurements are written with Revu's own measurement types and calibrations as standard viewports, so a file can travel between both apps during the switch. Existing Revu takeoffs import as real iCOS takeoff items, and .btx tool chests import with their symbols.
